Dibrugarh University PG Entrance Test 2020:

Dibrugarh University is going to conduct a Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) for the admission into Master’s in Arts (MA), Master’s in Science (MSc) and Master’s in Commerce (MCom) under Dibrugarh University. Eligible and interested candidates are asked to submit their application though online portal for this entrance examination before the last date of application.

Eligibility Criteria of DU PG Admission 2020:

Dibrugarh University’s online application process for Post Graduation courses is started, students who fulfilled below are given criteria are able to fill an online application for the admission in Dibrugarh University.

1. Master of Arts (M.A.): (Anthropology, Assamese, Bodo, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology and Statistics.)

• Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point

OR

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

2. Master of Science (M.Sc.): (Anthropology, Applied Geology, Chemistry,Geography, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics)

• Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with Major/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point

OR

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

3. Master of Commerce (M.Com.): [(i) Finance and (ii) Marketing]

• Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with Major/ Speciality/ Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point 

OR

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

4. M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics:

• Eligibility: Candidates with a Bachelor degree from a recognized University/Institution in Biological Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/ Veterinary Sciences/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/Medical Sciences with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

5. M.A. in Mass Communication:

• Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 45%in Major/ Honours or aggregate

6. M.A. in Applied Psychology:

• Eligibility: Candidates having Bachelor's degree (excluding Fine Arts), including a Medical degree, and other Technical Graduates from Dibrugarh University or any other University recognized by the UGC with at least 45% marks in Major/ Honours or 50% marks in aggregate.

7. M.A. in Sanitation, Hygiene and Health: 

• Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 45% in Major! Honours or aggregate

8. M.A. in Women Studies:

• Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in any stream from any UGC recognized university with minimum 45% in Major/ Honours or 50% marks in the aggregate for general graduate.

9. M. Ed. (recognized by NCTE):

• Eligibility: Obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:

i) B.Ed.

ii) B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed.(Integrated)

iii) B.EL.Ed

iv) D.ELEd. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).

Important Notes:

• Candidates appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2020.

• Notification for other Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Diploma and Certificate Programmes are/ will be notified separately.
