Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2020:
Anundoram Borooah was the first civil servant from Assam. On his name an award was introduced in 2005 as Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme with the sole aim of enhancing healthy competition amongst the student community and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education. In this scheme the government of Assam is providing laptops to the students of class 10 whose result is very well. From 2017 it was revised to 75%, but before that there was 60% to be obtained by a student in HSLC and AHM Examination which was conducted by SEBA to eligible for this award. Every year Secondary Education Board of Assam, in short SEBA conducts High School Leaving Certificate and Assam High Madrassa Examination for students who are reading in class 10 and also this award is presented to those students whose performance is very good in this examination.
Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2020 Details
This scheme only covers students of Assam and who passed their class 10th examination under SEBA. Since 2017, the process is quite easier as compared to earlier because the Government of Assam is started the online procedure for eligible students. All details including eligibility criteria and application process is updated below along with official notification. This year, students will receive Rupees Twenty Thousand instead of Laptop.

How to Apply for Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2020
Students who have fulfilled above mentioned criteria they will be able to fill an online application form by following below given steps. Without application no one will be eligible to take this award.

- Click on Online Application Link.
- Enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth & Login.
- Fill all asked details and upload scan copy of Bank Passbook as below mentioned.
- After all, submit online application for ARBAS 2020.

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:Kindly go through the following instructions carefully before proceeding:- Star or Distinctions holders in the HSLC/AHM Examination, 2020 are eligible to login and apply through this portal. However, if you are unable to login in spite of being eligible, kindly contact the given helpline numbers, or you can also visit SEBA office with your details.
- Make sure that you type the Roll and Number correctly as per your Admit Card. Also, enter your Date of Birth (DoB) using the calendar tool. The DoB should exactly match with your Admit Card.
- Candidates should have a Bank Account in his/her name (As per your Admit Card). Bank account in any other name or identity will not be accepted.
- Kindly keep a scanned image of the front page of your Bank Passbook with you. The scanned image should have your name account number, IFSC, and photograph clearly visible.
- The technical specifications of the above scanned image is as follows:
- Size of document must be less than 200 kb.
- Width (Horizontal) of document must be GREATER THAN 400px.
- Height (Vertical) of document must be GREATER THAN 600px.
- Document must be in .jpg or .jpeg Format
